Charen Urban, Program Coordinator. Charen is a member of South Congregational Church, a retired Newport teacher, a trustee for the Richards Free Library and coordinator of Newport’s International Workcamp. Charen provides leadership for Got Lunch! Newport and is responsible for food procurement & delivery.
Karen Little, Database Manager. Karen Little is a lifelong member of South Congregational Church. She is the church Financial Secretary and sings in the choir. She is on the Executive Board of the Area Choir and a former member of the Newport School Board. Karen manages the financial records, product inventory and our volunteer and delivery databases.
Elaine Frank, Community Outreach Coordinator. Elaine retired from the Injury Prevention Program at Dartmouth College. She is active with the Friends of Richards Free Library and Road to Independence. Elaine works with volunteers, food procurement and delivery.
Stacey Hammerlind, School District Liaison. Stacey is the Family and Community Coordinator for the Newport School District. She works with the school nurses to enroll families in Got Lunch Newport, with the SRO to provide training for the volunteer drivers, and with the school staff to recruit volunteers.
Rachel Page. Mother, volunteer and participant in the 2018 and 2019 programs, Rachel is our “inside voice” for the recipients of the program and a trusted advocate to families in need. She and her daughter help organize and pack each week.
Aaron Jenkyn. Missioner of Newport for the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, Aaron is responsible for the outreach efforts of her church including a 4-H Mentoring Program, the Sunshine Diner, and Upbeat Children’s Choir. She assists with grants and community support for Got Lunch! Newport.
Cindy Clifford. Cindy is a long time member of South Church. Cindy is a retired nurse who worked at Valley Regional Hospital. She has helped with volunteer coordination and food procurement in 2018 and 2019.
Kathryn Niboli, ex-officio. Kathy is the Moderator of South Church, fiscal sponsor of Got Lunch! Newport. Kathy is a retired teacher and administrator with the Newport School District and a long-time resident of Newport. She has volunteered with Got Lunch Newport as a packer and deliverer in 2018 and 2019.
